The Thirteen Habits of Super Successful People
by Austin Nairn

Leaders of Tomorrow Program participants had the fortune of hearing from Ray Williams (Co-Founder of Success IQ University, and President of Ray Williams and Associates) as he shared the behaviors and thinking that help people maximize success in life and work.
First and foremost, successful people have a strong understanding of their personal values and beliefs. Mr. Williams had all guests work on a personality assessment to determine which values rank highest for them as this is where the most energy should be focused.
Ray also spent time discussing the cause of happiness. Research shows that 50% is genetic and 10% is environmental so therefore only 40% is within our control. As happiness is a key to success, we must make the decision to be happy with the portion that we can control.
In addition, Mr. Williams shared his own personal story of success as he has overcome much adversity to become widely regarded as one of Canada’s Top Executive Coaches. Ray is a regular columnist for the National Post, and has written scores of articles for various newspapers and professional publications. More information on Mr. Williams visit www.sucessiqu.com.
The Leaders of Tomorrow Mentorship Program would like to extend a sincere thank you to Mr. Williams for taking the time to educate our program participants and the Terminal City Club for hosting us.
